My wife is a big Doctor Who fan. Even though I am not, I enjoyed this intriguing look at space and time with English physicist Brian Cox. Matt Smith even makes a guest appearance.

This film received mixed reviews when it debuted in 1998. But watching it after the events of September 11th is a haunting experience. It deals with terrorist cells, hijacking in New York City, lack of cooperation between Federal agencies, violations of civil liberties, and the torture of prisoners. Why don't we learn from the past, even if it's fictional?

The preview trailer for Big Hero 6 did not prepare me for the ups and downs of the storyline. It was a beautiful surprise. Combining super-hero action with a touching story about love and forgiveness, this movie kept me engaged and made me cry a little bit.
